Efpoz Terms of Use

Last updated 13 June 2026. These terms govern use of Efpoz websites, apps, service links, bookings, payment workflows, provider tools, and related services.

About Efpoz and these terms

Efpoz is operated by the Efpoz team at Vritul. Questions about these terms can be sent to support@efpoz.com.

These terms govern use of Efpoz websites, apps, provider workspaces, admin tools, service links, bookings, checkout flows, payment workflows, support channels, and related services in Australia and New Zealand.

By using Efpoz, creating an account, publishing a service, sharing a payment link, making a booking, or paying through an Efpoz flow, you agree to these terms.

Efpoz role

Efpoz provides software for service providers to create profiles, publish service offers, share payment links, manage leads, support bookings, and prepare payout onboarding. Customers can use Efpoz links or pages to review and pay for provider services.

Services sold through Efpoz are performed by independent providers outside the app. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Efpoz is not the provider, instructor, tutor, therapist, trainer, consultant, or seller of the underlying service.

Providers are independent businesses or individuals. Efpoz may facilitate payment, support, refunds, compliance checks, and platform administration, but the provider remains responsible for the service they offer and deliver.

Accounts

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating or using an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that occurs through your account.

If you use Efpoz for a business, organisation, or provider profile, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business or organisation and to provide the information submitted through Efpoz.

You must promptly update information that becomes inaccurate, including contact details, service details, payment onboarding details, tax profile settings, cancellation terms, and provider availability.

Provider obligations

Providers must only offer services they are legally permitted and appropriately qualified to provide. Providers must deliver services with reasonable care, skill, professionalism, and compliance with applicable laws, industry rules, venue rules, and professional obligations.

Providers are responsible for the accuracy of their profile, pricing, availability, inclusions, exclusions, service descriptions, qualifications, licences, insurance, cancellation terms, refund terms, health or safety requirements, and customer communications.

Providers must comply with applicable consumer, privacy, spam, tax, GST, employment, child-safety, health, licensing, and fair-trading laws, including the Australian Consumer Law and New Zealand consumer and fair-trading laws where they apply.

Providers must have appropriate authority before adding client, customer, student, guardian, or third-party information to Efpoz and must handle that information lawfully.

Customers and bookings

Customers should review the provider, service description, price, timing, inclusions, exclusions, location, suitability, and cancellation terms before booking or paying. A payment confirms the customer authorises the transaction for the selected service.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate booking, contact, attendance, health, access, and delivery information where relevant to the provider's service.

Provider services may be subject to the provider's own reasonable policies, including attendance, rescheduling, late cancellation, no-show, safety, and refund policies, provided those policies do not override non-excludable legal rights.

Fees, setup, and payouts

Unless a different written arrangement applies, Efpoz's launch provider fee is 4.9% + A$0.30 per successful transaction for Starter providers, 3.9% + A$0.30 after A$10,000 rolling monthly provider GMV, and 2.9% + A$0.30 after A$25,000 rolling monthly provider GMV. Fees are GST-inclusive where GST applies.

Efpoz may charge or waive an A$79 provider setup fee. Efpoz may credit, waive, discount, trial, or change fees with notice or by written agreement.

Stripe or other payment partners may process card payments, subscriptions, refunds, disputes, connected account onboarding, and payouts. Payout timing depends on payment partner rules, connected account status, fraud checks, refund or dispute risk, reserves, and legal requirements.

Efpoz may deduct platform, payment operations, setup, subscription, refund, dispute, chargeback, tax, or other agreed amounts before provider payout where permitted by law and payment partner rules.

Providers remain responsible for their own tax, GST, accounting, invoices, income reporting, and professional advice. Efpoz finance views are operational tools and are not legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice.

Refunds, cancellations, and consumer rights

Refunds and cancellations may be handled by the provider, by Efpoz on behalf of the provider, or by a payment partner, depending on the service, payment flow, provider policy, and applicable law.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies rights, guarantees, remedies, or protections that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including the Australian Consumer Law, New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act, and New Zealand Fair Trading Act where they apply.

Change-of-mind refunds are not automatic unless required by law or offered by the provider's policy. If a service is not supplied, is not supplied with reasonable care and skill, is materially different from what was described, or otherwise triggers a non-excludable legal remedy, the responsible provider must comply with applicable consumer law.

Efpoz may withhold, reverse, refund, offset, or recover amounts where needed to process an approved refund, resolve a dispute, respond to fraud or chargeback risk, comply with law, or follow payment partner rules.

Subscriptions and recurring payments

Some providers may offer subscriptions, packages, memberships, or recurring payment plans through Efpoz. The checkout flow or provider offer should identify the price, billing interval, inclusions, and cancellation approach before payment.

Customers must cancel recurring services through the available Efpoz, provider, or payment partner flow before the next billing date if they no longer want the recurring service, subject to applicable law and the provider's terms.

Acceptable use

Users must not misuse Efpoz, impersonate others, publish misleading content, harass users, upload unlawful or objectionable content, infringe intellectual property, attempt unauthorised access, scrape data, or use Efpoz for illegal activity.

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate access where we reasonably believe these terms, policies, law, payment rules, or user safety requirements have been breached.

Content and intellectual property

Users keep ownership of content they submit, but grant Efpoz the rights needed to host, display, process, adapt, transmit, and use that content to operate, promote, protect, and improve the service.

Efpoz software, branding, design, workflows, and content are protected by intellectual property laws and may not be copied or reused except as permitted by these terms or written permission.

Users must only upload content they have the right to use and must not publish misleading, infringing, confidential, unsafe, unlawful, or deceptive content.

Privacy and data

Efpoz handles personal information in accordance with the Efpoz Privacy Policy. Providers and customers must also comply with privacy, consent, and confidentiality obligations that apply to their own use of Efpoz.

Providers must only add customer, client, student, guardian, or third-party information to Efpoz where they have a lawful basis to do so and have provided any required notices or obtained any required consents.

Efpoz may use aggregated, anonymised, or de-identified information to understand product usage, improve the service, plan features, and report business performance.

Third-party services

Efpoz relies on third-party services including payment processors, hosting providers, analytics tools, communication services, app stores, device platforms, and other infrastructure providers.

Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, eligibility rules, fees, dispute processes, or account requirements. Efpoz is not responsible for third-party outages, restrictions, decisions, or delays outside our reasonable control.

Availability and changes

Efpoz may add, remove, suspend, limit, or change features, workflows, providers, payment methods, countries, fees, eligibility criteria, or support channels as the product, risk controls, legal requirements, or payment partner rules change.

We aim to keep Efpoz useful and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, specific revenue, customer conversion, provider suitability, marketplace demand, payout timing, or service outcomes.

Suspension and termination

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, delay payouts, or terminate access where we reasonably believe these terms, our policies, law, payment rules, user safety requirements, fraud controls, or platform integrity requirements have been breached.

Users may stop using Efpoz at any time, but outstanding payments, refunds, disputes, provider obligations, tax records, legal obligations, and terms intended to survive termination will continue to apply.

Disclaimers and liability

Efpoz is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. Efpoz does not provide legal, tax, accounting, medical, fitness, financial, migration, education, therapeutic, or other professional advice through the platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Efpoz is not liable for provider service quality, provider conduct, customer conduct, indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of data, reputational harm, payment partner delay, or events outside our reasonable control.

Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, Efpoz's liability is limited, at our option and where lawful, to resupplying the affected platform service or the amount paid to Efpoz for the affected platform service in the three months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies rights or guarantees that cannot be excluded by law.

Disputes, law, and contact

If you have a complaint or dispute, contact support@efpoz.com first so we can try to resolve it quickly. Privacy complaints should follow the process in the Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, except to the extent mandatory local consumer laws apply. Courts with jurisdiction in Victoria may hear disputes, subject to any non-excludable rights users have to bring claims in another place.

We may update these terms as Efpoz changes or as legal requirements change. Continued use after updates are published means you accept the updated terms unless a later effective date is stated.
